Kevin M. Dixon
Founder & Principal
Kevin M. Dixon founded Smitherwood Holdings, L.P. in 2014, and holds a wealth of experience, knowledge and relationships in the areas of marketing, commercial operations and project development in the oil, natural gas and NGL upstream, midstream and regulated transmission pipeline sectors. He specializes in marketing, origination, business development, contract negotiations, asset management, asset brokerage and transactional advisory. Mr. Dixon gained this expertise over 15 years while in various commercial roles at Ocean Energy, Devon Energy, Williams, NJR Energy Services, and Columbia Pipeline Group.
Prior to founding Smitherwood, Mr. Dixon held several leadership roles at Columbia Pipeline Group within the Commercial organization with responsibility for Optimization and Logistics, Customer Services and Fuel and Measurement across CPG’s 15,000 miles of regulated transportation and storage assets. Prior to joining CPG, Mr. Dixon served as Manager of Marketing for NJR Energy Services where he was responsible for developing NJR’s producer services presence in Texas, the Mid-continent, the Gulf Coast and Appalachia, and growing NJR’s marketing presence across the Gulf Coast from Texas to Florida. Previously, he held commercial development and marketing positions at Williams Midstream, Devon Energy Corporation and Ocean Energy, Inc.
Mr. Dixon holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia.
